This new event from Baptist Memorial Health Care was designed to inspire and empower young women to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). SHE Leads the Way, made possible with help from cityCURRENT, featured speaker Nina Tandon, CEO and co-founder of EpiBone.

The inspiration and guidance aren’t over! Baptist Health Sciences University will hold regular sessions to help support STEM education as part of its follow-up program, BaptistU HealthCORE, which serves interested attendees of SHE Leads the Way and Black Men in White Coats, as well as any middle school, high school and college students throughout the areas served by Baptist.
