Former Baptist Rehab patient to be featured on ESPN’s College GameDay

Fletcher Cleaves, a former high school athlete who was paralyzed in a 2009 accident with a driver who was texting, will be featured along with Baptist Rehabilitation-Germantown team members in a public service announcement that will air during ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Fletcher Cleaves, a former high school athlete who was paralyzed in a 2009 accident with a driver who was texting, will be featured along with Baptist Rehabilitation-Germantown team members in a public service announcement that will air during ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday, Sept. 19.

After the accident, Fletcher underwent months of therapy, including a long stint at Baptist Rehab-Germantown with therapist Marylyle Boolos. Today, he is part of AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign, which discourages texting and driving.
