DAISY Winners Practice Tender Compassion

Two recent DAISY winners pulled heartstrings while caring for patients.

Stephanie Clark, RN

Two recent DAISY winners pulled heartstrings while caring for patients.

At Baptist Memphis on 5 East, Stephanie Clark, RN, cared for a dying patient, leaving an indelible mark on the family and pastor. “She was so caring, the pastor mentioned her by name at the funeral.”

Amanda Moore, RN in the ER at Baptist Golden Triangle, took to sitting to reach new heights. A co-worker nominated her after witnessing her deep tenderness with an emotionally vulnerable patient in the ER. “The patient began to cry and sat down on the floor. Amanda sat on the floor with the patient and gave a reassuring hug and encouragement.”

Congratulations to Stephanie and Amanda!
