The Baptist Health Foundation, Mississippi Baptist Medical Center’s fundraising arm, recently named Crisler Boone as its executive director.
Before joining the Baptist Health Foundation, Crisler spent 13 years in Jackson Preparatory School’s development department, rising from an associate director of development to the head of external affairs. She also served as the treasury services director for Metropolitan Bank, then held a similar position after it merged with Renasant Bank.
“We are thrilled to welcome Crisler to the Baptist Health Foundation team,” said Rick Calhoon, chairman of the Baptist Health Foundation board. “She brings a wealth of experience and an impressive track record, so I’m excited to see all she will accomplish here. We are fortunate to have her on our team.”
A graduate of Millsaps College, Crisler has volunteered with a number of community organizations, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; Applause, Friends of the Arts; Junior League of Jackson; Canopy Children’s Solutions; Phi Theta Kappa; and the Mississippi Children’s Museum. She founded Volunteer Greater Jackson, and The Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership named her Volunteer of the Year in 2015.
