Ken Lewis, Ph.D., pastor of Briarwood Community Church in Cordova, will be the featured speaker at the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series event on Thursday, Dec. 15 at noon at the Garrett Auditorium.
Dr. Lewis began his ministry training by attending Huntsville Bible College, where he received a Bachelor of Theology degree in 2005. In 2008, Dr. Lewis and his family relocated to Cordova. He earned his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministries degree in 2011 and his Ph.D. from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014.
A native of Sallis, Mississippi, Dr. Lewis was a software developer and project manager before pursuing vocational ministry. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Mississippi State University.
