Baptist Cancer Center hosted the inaugural “Forever in our Hearts” Cancer Remembrance Day gathering on Sunday, Nov. 12, at the pond behind Baptist Cancer Center in Memphis. The special event allowed participants to come together as a community and pay tribute to those who have lost their lives to cancer.
Attendees decorated luminaries in memory of their loved ones, and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis Chaplain Joseph Rosas was available to provide support and comfort. Artist Miranda Griffin painted at the event and Pat Fusco provided music.
Baptist Cancer Center also offered additional resources for those seeking information or support related to cancer and grief.
