Baptist Cancer Center-Bartlett hosted an open house on Friday, Sept. 8, to give community members an opportunity to view the new computed tomography suite and learn more about how it offers a better patient experience close to home. Jim Wilson, director of pastoral care at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville, led a prayer of dedication.
The CT suite features a Siemens SOMATOM Sensation 64-slice CT machine, which offers faster scanning times and optimum imaging. The new machine can perform diagnostic and radiation planning scans with increased efficiency. It also offers the ability to perform head and neck studies.
