Baptist Women’s Hospital’s retired CEO still making news

Anita Vaughn, former CEO of Baptist Women's Hospital, recently received the Legends Award from the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis.

Although she’s technically retired from Baptist, the former CEO of Baptist Women’s Hospital is still making news. In late February, Vaughn joined a roomful of women to receive the Legends Award. Given by the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis, the award pays tribute to women whose work embodies vision and innovation.

During the Legends Award luncheon, Vaughn was recognized alongside Sonia Louder Walker (Catalyst Award) and Fredrika “Freddi” Felt (Philanthropy and Leadership Award). To date, 66 women have earned Legends awards.

Congratulations to Anita and all the women making a difference in Memphis!
