Dillon Clark, a lead pharmacist at Baptist Union County, recently was named Outstanding Young Pharmacist at the Mississippi Society of Health System Pharmacists’ annual meeting.
The award is given annually to pharmacists in their first five years of practice after graduation. The winner shows outstanding cooperation with the entire health care team, outstanding service to the profession of health-systems pharmacy, outstanding service to the community and outstanding contributions to the progress of health-systems pharmacy.
“I think all of us who are fortunate enough to work with Dillon would agree that he is truly deserving of this award,” said Trey Crumby, director of pharmacy at Baptist North Mississippi. “He is both a great pharmacist and an ambassador for Baptist.”
