The first baby born at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in 2025 came early, but he’s now at home and doing well! Parents Alex and Peyton Bryant welcomed Alexander Banks Bryant at 9:31 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1. He arrived six weeks early and weighed 5 pounds, 8 ounces.
Dr. Ellen Paquin delivered Alexander who spent the first three weeks following his birth in the Newborn Intensive Care unit of an area hospital. He is now enjoying life at home with his parents and big sister Annie Jo Bryant.
The family recently reunited at Baptist Union County for a photo commemorating Alexander’s status as a New Year’s baby. Baptist Union County team members presented the family with a gift bag of baby items, including a car seat.
