Team members at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County held a friendly but competitive food and monetary drive in November for the Good Samaritan Center, which helps individuals and families in need of food and utility assistance. The drive resulted in a donation of nearly 4,000 food items and more than $200.
Team members from the Medical-Surgical unit on 2 Main won the competition with a donation of 1,319 food items.
“Baptist Union County is extremely proud and grateful to these colleagues for their selfless acts of kindness and their servant hearts now and throughout the year,” said Ann Bishop, CEO and administrator.
