The Mammography department at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City developed a display for the Obion County Public Library to promote education during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The display included the slogan “T.E.A.M.”  for “Telling Everyone About Mammograms.”

Baptist Union City offers 3D mammography, which uses X-rays to create 3D images of the breast. The quick procedure can detect breast cancer earlier than 2D mammography and may reduce the likelihood of being called back for additional testing.

Hospital Administrator/CEO Skipper Bondurant said, “We have the ability to provide advanced care with our equipment and highly qualified mammography team.”
