Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City recently held two “Monday Motivation” events to transform normal Mondays and make them special for team members.
At one come-and-go event, the hospital offered freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, high fives and complimentary Bibles donated by the Obion County Gideons Camp.
“Motivation Monday is just one of many fun things we do to bring smiles to our staff. With the help of our Gideon friends, we can consistently offer Bibles to our team members as a way to recognize their service and strengthen their faith,” said Chaplain Michael Dennison, director of pastoral care at Baptist Union City.
At another recent event, team members enjoyed treat bags donated by the Union City High School Key Club. The bags were filled with Tootsie Rolls and the message: “Thank you for the important ‘roll’ you play in our community.”
Students in the Key Club and their advisor, Carolyn Nipp, toured hospital departments and offered high fives while handing out the candy. They also learned more about the hospital during their visit.
