Two nurses at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City recently achieved Clinical Excellence Ladder status for their community service. Sheila Rechis, an ambulatory care nurse, and P.J. Andrew, a medical-surgical nurse, organized a canned food drive to support Reelfoot Rural Ministries.
The nurses collected 579 canned goods for the ministry.
The goal of the hospital’s Clinical Excellence Ladder Program is to recognize and retain clinical expertise and knowledge at the bedside while promoting professional growth, development, leadership and problem-solving skills.
