Baptist Union City leaders recently visited Union City High School to participate in its Lunch & Learn program. They shared their stories of serving patients and offered advice and best practices for students seeking careers in health care.
The Lunch & Learn program featured a panel-style interview, allowing students to actively engage with members of the Baptist Union City leadership team, including Chaplain Michael Dennison, director of pastoral care; Lori Brown, chief nursing officer; Casey Jenkins, risk manager and patient advocate; Ashley Cherry, manager of infection prevention and employee health; Nicky Thomas, director of Human Resources; Jill Hopper, administrative director of quality and ancillary services; Tammy Albright, quality nurse; India Lewis, staff development; and Caitlyn Caksackkar, project director.
Chaplain Dennison served as the moderator. He said, “The students asked our panel some very deep and thoughtful questions, and our leadership team shared from their hearts.”
Baptist Union City Administrator/CEO Skipper Bondurant said, “We are thankful to partner with schools in the endeavor of helping students find their calling in health care.”
