Baptist Tipton recently honored Evelyn Lightsey, RN in Critical Services, as a Service First Champion. She was nominated by a new team member who was training at the hospital to prepare for working at the Baptist Arlington Emergency Department. The nominator was impressed by Evelyn’s commitment and willingness to be a team player.
Even though it was time for a shift change, Evelyn stayed to complete a messy job that could have been assigned to someone else. According to the nomination, “It took a strong constitution to complete the task, which Evelyn did with composure and professionalism.”
