Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton recently participated in the 2025 West Tennessee Pathways2Possibilities (P2P) Career Expo for eighth grade students. Nearly 4,000 students from eight West Tennessee counties attended the two-day event along with 400 school chaperones and 50 volunteers.
Baptist Tipton, the only hospital at the expo, shared information on career paths in health care. The Baptist exhibit also included CPR demos, breathing obstruction and intubation mannequins, surgical simulation with instruments, information on addiction medicine and Fatal Vision Goggles that simulate the effects of substance abuse to provide perspective on the dangers involved.
Students from Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Haywood, Lauderdale, Obion, Shelby and Tipton counties had the opportunity to interact with almost 350 exhibitors during the event.
