Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton served as a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) drug collection site on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Saturday, April 27. More than 200 community members who attended the event had the opportunity to properly dispose of unused or expired medications and receive naloxone training.
The hospital joined with Drug Free Tipton and local first responders to host the event. Attendees received lock boxes for medications and participated in fun activities with first responders and community partners.
