Baptist Restorative Care Promotes Latarsha Triplett to CNO

Baptist Memorial Restorative Care Hospital recently promoted Latarsha Triplett, DNP, RN, NE-BC, to chief nursing officer. She joined Baptist Restorative Care in May 2023 as director of nursing.

In this new role, Latarsha’s goal is to continue improving the quality of nursing and respiratory care and expand the services the long-term acute care hospital provides. As part of her new role, Latarsha will supervise Nursing, Staff Development and Respiratory Therapy.

She has more than 27 years of nursing experience with multiple nursing leadership positions and a strong background in ICU, medical-surgical, rehabilitation and home health nursing. At Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, Latarsha was the nurse manager of the Medical-Surgical Observation Unit, Nursing Staff Development and the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.

Latarsha works as an adjunct instructor for Colorado Technical University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Austin Peay University in 1996, a master’s degree in nursing administration from the University of Memphis in 2006 and a doctorate in nursing practice, executive nursing, from the University of South Alabama in 2020.

Baptist Restorative Care is located inside Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. The hospital treats patients who require a higher level of continued care over an extended length of time, such as following a stroke or cardiovascular incident, after discharge from an ICU or step-down unit, during weaning from a ventilator or while receiving treatment for complicated wounds.
