Baptist OneSource to Fully Launch on April 1!

Baptist OneSource will launch fully for all team members on Tuesday, April 1, although parts of it will go live sooner than that. This enterprise resource planning system from Oracle will integrate Baptist’s key business functions into one centralized cloud application, helping team members work more efficiently. The implementation of Baptist OneSource is our biggest, most transformative change since the Baptist OneCare electronic health record system implementation. Please keep reading to learn more about the benefits of Baptist OneSource and how to get ready for the launch.

“The Baptist OneSource team has gone above and beyond in designing, building and testing our new enterprise resource planning system and preparing the organization for the transition,” said Margaret Chisholm Massey, system director of Baptist OneSource. “Baptist OneSource is an investment in the future that will serve us for many years. It will increase our efficiency, help us standardize practices and make it easier to obtain accurate data to make decisions in a timely fashion.”

Baptist OneSource securely connects Human Resources, Finance and Supply Chain Management with each other and the rest of the organization. While individuals working in these three departments will notice the most changes with Baptist OneSource, all team members will use and benefit from Baptist OneSource. With this shared database and easy-to-use features, team members and leaders will be able to better analyze data, improve processes and increase efficiency.

Update Personal Information or View Pay Stubs

Baptist OneSource employee self-service empowers team members to update personal information and view pay stubs and other employment information on their own.

Personal information that may be updated includes name, address or other contact information, emergency contacts, license certifications and educational information. Team members may also change financial information, such as direct deposit or tax withholding.

Order Supplies

The process for ordering supplies will be better than ever. Baptist OneSource gives approved requesters the ability to select items from a menu and easily track the status of an order throughout the journey. The process will be very similar to ordering online.

With Baptist OneSource’s high level of transparency, team members can easily view their supply requests and approvals, eliminating the need to make calls or send emails to see if a request is approved or if an item arrived.

Generate Reports and Track the Hiring Process

Baptist OneSource’s expanded, user-friendly reporting features will provide leaders with the best information for making important decisions across the organization. Baptist OneSource will also introduce a streamlined hiring and talent management process so leaders can create job requisitions, track candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding processes, and complete performance appraisals.

Take an Important Next Step

A Baptist OneSource Journey is a checklist of actions to guide team member experiences and career development. Baptist OneSource Go-live Journeys will be assigned to everyone on Wednesday, March 19. The Go-live Journey, which will help team members prepare for the launch, should be completed by Sunday, March 30.

If not yet completed, team members should take the Baptist OneSource HealthStream training as soon as possible.

Find Help

The Baptist OneSource intranet site is the go-to resource for go-live information. It contains helpful tools, such as tip sheets, demos, manager and employee go-live checklists and directories of super users and change champions who provide local support and communication for each entity.
