Newborns at Baptist Women’s Hospital sported classic red to mark National Wear Red Day at the hospital. The red hats serve as a reminder that heart disease, according to the American Heart Association, is the No. 1 killer of women in the United States, claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined.

National Wear Red Day is held on the first Friday in February every year. This Feb. 3 marked the 15th anniversary of the day.
