The Baptist Memorial Medical Education department held its fifth annual Scholarly Symposium and Grand Rounds presentations at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis on Wednesday, May 1. Two grand rounds winners and three poster board winners were announced after Baptist faculty and residents submitted their work.
Grand Rounds Winners
- First Place: “MRI AIDS in Diagnosis,” Dr. Benjamin Horton, Dr. Batool Mraiyan and Dr. Jill Bailey — Internal Medicine Residency Program at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital
- Second Place: “Diagnostic Dilemma: Unmasking Neurosyphilis in a Patient with HIV,” Dr. Prakhyath Srikaram, Dr. Richard Bresler and Dr. Meghan Patel — Internal Medicine Residency Program at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi
Poster Board Winners
- First Place: “Transitional Care Management,” Dr. Vicenda Augustin, Dr. Ravallika Konda and Dr. Kayla Sweeten — Family Medicine Residency Program at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto
