Baby-Friendly USA, the accrediting body and national authority for the U.S. Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, has redesignated Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center, Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County and Mississippi Baptist Medical Center as Baby-Friendly Hospitals.

This designation demonstrates these hospitals are adhering to the highest standards of care for breastfeeding moms and babies. Baby-Friendly Hospitals provide an environment that supports breastfeeding while respecting every woman’s right to make the best decision for herself and her family.
