Jean Willis, Pete Willis and Cindy Warner, members of the Baptist Anderson Volunteer Auxiliary team, recently planned and created a beautiful volunteer flower garden on campus.
“Our amazing volunteer team is always looking for ways to brighten our facilities, and they’ve done it again,” said Baptist Anderson Director of Guest Services Sheila Nettles. “This thoughtful project is already spreading sunshine and smiles to our patients, visitors and team members.”
Baptist Union City
Skipper Bondurant, Baptist Union City administrator and CEO, congratulated retired Baptist Union City Auxiliary President Artie Marie Bondurant, who served as a hospital volunteer for 30 years.
He said, “Baptist Union City is thankful for Artie’s leadership, support and friendship. She will be greatly missed.”
Mississippi Baptist Medical Center
Beverly Gilbert retired at age 96 after volunteering for 55 years at MBMC. Her family, friends, hospital leaders and volunteer peers joined her in June at the annual luncheon for Baptist Auxiliary, where she was celebrated and thanked for her commitment.
Gilbert served seven terms as auxiliary board president over a 30-year span and is well known for her smiling face at the hospital’s front desk. She has seen many changes at the hospital since 1970, and has served numerous patients, visitors and staff during her time as a volunteer.
