Baptist North Mississippi team members celebrate Patient Experience Week.

Baptist Memorial hospitals celebrated Patient Experience (PX) Week with an “I am the Patient Experience” theme between Monday, April 29 and Friday, May 3. During the week, hospitals re-energized efforts, recognized accomplishments and honored team members who affect patient experience daily. Team members found creative ways to observe the week with many activities, including a compassion challenge, “walking banana pudding,” emoji cookies and window painting. Read on to learn more.

Baptist Calhoun

The hospital also had a whiteboard for “Fun Facts About Our Patients,” allowing team members to share interesting tidbits about patients, such as their dogs’ names.

Team members also saw themselves reflected in mirrors at time clocks.

The painted windows in each department featured positive comments about the great work done by the team members from the quarter. Both visitors and team members enjoyed the decorated windows as the hospital celebrated its Outpatient Satisfaction score recently moving from “Target” to “Exceeds Target.”
