A family member nominated Security Officer Tim Hopkins for the BEE Award for going above and beyond during a recent visit to the Emergency department.

“He was very sweet, telling us where to go, and he helped get my husband to the Admissions desk while I moved the car. When I came back in, Tim had my orange wristband waiting for me, put it on my wrist and walked me back to see my husband,” said the family member. “Around midnight, I asked a nurse to direct me to the nearest vending machine. Tim was right there and walked me all the way to the vending area, making sure I got what I needed, and then walked me all the way back to the room. He went above and beyond what was necessary, and we truly appreciated it.”

She works all shift to be sure they are comfortable. My job is made so much easier because of her hard work.”
