Dr. Mark Castellaw, medical director of Baptist Medical Group-The Medical Group and a deacon and teacher at Bellevue Baptist Church, will be the featured speaker at this month’s Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series event, which will be held on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 12:00 p.m. at the Garrett Auditorium.
A native Memphian, Dr. Castellaw graduated from the University of Memphis and earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee. After completing an internal medicine residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Medical Center, he joined The Medical Group, an internal medicine practice, where he has worked for the past 30 years. In 2012, the practice joined Baptist Medical Group (BMG), and he became the group’s medical director.
In his spare time, he serves as a deacon and teacher at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis. He recently began teaching pastors in Honduras and Africa. He and his wife of 42 years, Pam, have three sons, three daughters-in-law and nine grandchildren.
