Mississippi Baptist Medical Center held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, March 24 to celebrate the grand opening of Baptist Orthopedics and Baptist Surgery Center-Madison. Both facilities are located at 401 Baptist Drive in Madison, Mississippi.
“We are excited to expand our services in the Madison community with Baptist Orthopedics and Baptist Surgery Center-Madison,” said Brad Beattie, chief operating officer of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center and Baptist Medical Group-Jackson. “Baptist is committed to helping Mississippians achieve the highest quality of life through access to advanced medical care close to home.”
Baptist Orthopedics, a 7,038-square-foot facility, features 12 exam rooms, a dedicated cast room, on-site X-ray services and three physician offices.
The 11,200-square-foot Baptist Surgery Center-Madison includes four operating rooms, 10 pre-operational and post-anesthesia care unit bays, two gastrointestinal endoscopy rooms, five additional pre-operational and post-anesthesia care unit bays for endoscopy procedures, and a consultation room. The surgery center offers a range of specialties, including orthopedics; general surgery; ophthalmology; gynecology; plastic surgery; gastroenterology; and ear, nose and throat.
