Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto and Baptist Cancer Center-DeSoto kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by participating in the annual Think Pink event at Tanger Outlet Southaven and a community health fair at Moore’s Financial Group in Southaven. At the events, team members provided education and encouraged attendees to schedule mammograms.
Team members at the community health fair also offered blood pressure screenings and information about hypertension, stroke and cardiac care, including early warning signs of a heart attack.
