Dr. Marcus Biggers with OrthoSouth recently became the first surgeon to perform a knee replacement surgery at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville using the CORI Surgical System from Smith & Nephew. The robotic-assisted technology helps surgeons with the accurate placement of knee implants by providing detailed data on knee anatomy in the form of a 3D digital model.
“Baptist Collierville recently upgraded our robotic-assisted knee surgery offerings to include the CORI Surgical System,” said Lindsay Stencel, CEO and administrator at Baptist Collierville. “We’re pleased to offer this technology to assist surgeons with knee replacement surgeries.”
