Baptist Breaks Ground on Medical Office Building in Madison

Madison Mayor Mary Hawkins-Butler with representatives from Jackson Eye Associates, Mississippi Retina Associates, Codaray Construction and Baptist Memorial Health Care break ground on the new medical facility in Madison.

Baptist Memorial Health Care, in collaboration with The Boldt Company, announced they will be opening a new medical facility in Madison, Mississippi. The groundbreaking for the 100,000-square-foot physician office building took place on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The additional offices will provide general and specialty medical care to the growing community in Madison County. Construction is scheduled to be complete in December 2023.

This project represents an estimated $35 million investment in medical infrastructure, which includes recruitment of new physicians and medical services to the community.

“We’re excited for this new facility and the opportunity to expand our health care services in Madison County,” said Bobbie Ware, CEO and administrator at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. “The added office spaces for physicians will provide this community with access to more options for their health care needs.”

This new construction will expand Baptist’s offerings in Madison County, which currently include cardiology; primary care; orthopedic services; women’s and pediatric care; ear, nose and throat care; rehabilitation; and eye care services with leading-edge diagnostic technology and advanced medical capabilities.
