Baptist Booneville and Baptist Union County Recognize Service First Champions

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Booneville and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County recently honored their Service First Champions for the quarter. They were recognized for going above and beyond.

Greg Sparks, medical lab technician at Baptist Booneville, earned Service First Champion recognition for the compassion and dedication he demonstrated after a recent helicopter crash in Booneville. Greg organized a procession in honor of the two Mississippi National Guardsmen who lost their lives in the crash.

The nominator said, “Greg is a great asset to Baptist. I’m proud to call him my colleague and friend.”

Haeden Dyar, RN in the Women’s Center at Baptist Union County, was named Service First Champion for going above and beyond to care for a postpartum patient. Haeden familiarized herself with the traditions and preferences of the patient to ensure an exceptional experience.

“Haeden had a willingness to understand the patient’s preferences and culture. She made sure the patient received the best care and respect,” said the nomination.
