Baptist Attala Wins Two Quality Awards

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala recently earned two hospital quality awards: the Overall Critical Access Hospital Strength Index Award and the Critical Access Hospital Strength Index Quality Award.

The two awards are based on data from the Hospital Strength Index Pillar Composite Report, the industry standard for assessing and benchmarking rural and critical access hospital performance.

Baptist Attala leaders received the awards in front of nearly 200 professionals on Mississippi Rural Health Day, created by Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant to recognize the importance of rural health.

“We are very pleased to present these two awards to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala,”  said Ryan Kelly, executive director of the Mississippi Rural Health Association. “There is no doubt that this high-quality performance is due to a high-quality staff and leadership. With the talent and dedication of our state’s health professionals, it is clear that the quality of our rural health care is strong and the outcomes of our patients have never been better.”
