Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala co-sponsored the Health Fair for Senior Citizens of Attala County with community partners at the Central Mississippi Fair on Friday, Aug. 30. The event attracted 109 attendees and 43 vendors. Baptist Attala provided free lipid panels and blood pressure and oxygen-level checks.
The fair focused on health and wellness, caregiver concerns, hospice care, community resources and fun. Baptist Attala CEO and Administrator Mac Flynt and Chief Nursing Officer Allison Schuler hosted activities, including musical performances with local talent and bingo with Kosciusko Mayor Tim Kyle. Participants also enjoyed complimentary breakfast.
