Matt Crawford, Ph.D., senior pastor at Trinity Baptist in Cordova, will be the featured speaker at the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series event on Thursday, August 18 at noon at the Garrett Auditorium.
Dr. Crawford was called to serve at Trinity Baptist in 2020 following the retirement of Dr. Richard Hipps, a past speaker for the Rev. Jimmy Terry Preaching Series.
After completing his Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Crawford earned a Ph.D. from the seminary. He has served as student pastor, discipleship pastor, campus pastor and senior pastor at multiple churches in Florida.
Dr. Crawford met his wife, Christie, through Baptist Collegiate Ministries at the University of Central Florida, and they have been married since 2003. They have five kids.
