…and Calhoun makes 17

Today we are officially welcoming our 17th hospital ‒ Baptist Memorial Hospital-Calhoun in Calhoun City, Miss. ‒ to our system. The hospital is located in North Mississippi, about 45 minutes away from Oxford. It’s an area we are very familiar with, and we look forward to working with the hospital team and the community to provide top-notch health care.

As I have mentioned before, adding more hospitals give us the ability to reach even more underserved communities, like Calhoun County. As we have done in other Mississippi areas, we will partner with the community to recruit physicians and bring advanced technology to the hospital. We have already installed Baptist OneCare, and the “go live” was a tremendous success.

Since the Baptist Memorial Health Care System was created in 1980, our goal has been to provide high-quality care close to home throughout the Mid-South. We continue to strive toward that goal in communities large and small, urban and rural, in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. We have been blessed with the ability to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of Mid-Southerners every year. Every hospital we add increases the number of lives we touch.
