Baptist Management System

You may have noticed that we’re sharing stories of team members who have used the Baptist Management System to address issues in their work environments. I hope you have a chance to read these Baptist Leader articles because what these team members have achieved is truly remarkable.

Skip Steward, our chief improvement officer, introduced the Baptist Management System three years ago, and since then, departments and entities have saved millions of dollars making processes more efficient. BMS encourages everyone – front-line team members, managers and senior leadership – to tackle problems together, and the most successful initiatives have had full engagement from the entire health care team.

During my visits to different Baptist entities, I learned how you have embraced the Baptist Management System, and how our patients, team members and physicians are reaping the benefits of your success. We will use the Baptist Management System to implement the changes you suggested in our employee engagement surveys, and I can’t wait to see the results.

It’s never easy to adopt a new way of doing things, so I am in awe of how quickly and how well you have made the Baptist Management System a part of your everyday work. Thank you for your commitment to continuous improvement.
