Quick and Easy Ways to Earn Points with HumanaVitality

With the Sept. 1 deadline just around the corner, Baptist team members who are just shy of reaching silver status and the health plan discount can take heart. We’ve rounded up the best quick and easy ways to earn points—even with just days left. Take a moment to see what fits and start by visiting www.humana.com.

Calculators –75 points each/up to 4 per year
Update/confirm contact information – One time only- 50 points
Download the Mobile App – First time only- 50 points
Log into the website (1x/month) – 10 points each time
Log into the Mobile App (1x/month) – 10 points each time

Milestones (Points vary )

  • Starting a New Fitness Habit (1x/mo- 25 points)
  • Sleep Diary (5 points daily with Fitbit or Jawbone)
  • Weekly Food Log (Track weight or food with the MyFitnessPal app)

To set a milestone:

  1. Download the HumanaVitality mobile app
  2. Log in using your username and password
  3. Click the menu button (3 white lines in upper left hand corner)
  4. Click on “Milestones”
  5. Click on the milestone you would like to set
  6. For the “Starting a New Fitness Habit” milestone, it will ask you to submit a picture for proof after 7 days. For the other two you will automatically get points through the apps. Make sure you connect Fitbit, Jawbone, or MyFitnessPal to your mobile device before use.

Challenges:

Up to 100 points/month

  • Using your mobile HumanaVitality app
  • Log using your username and password
  • Click on the Menu Button (3 white lines in the upper left hand corner)
  • Click on “Challenges”
  • When you join/create a challenge or team you will earn 50 points

Easy ways to submit points through the HumanaVitality App

  • Athletic Event (1.9-5.6 miles = 250 points, 5.6-12.4 miles = 350 points, more than 12.4 miles = 500 points)
  • Sports League (350 points)
  • Blood Donation (50 points up to 6x/year)
