Casey McBrayer, an information systems analyst at Baptist Union County and a recent graduate of the University of Mississippi, received the prestigious Marcus Elvis Taylor Memorial Medal, the university’s highest academic award, during an April 7 ceremony at Oxford’s Ford Center for the Performing Arts
A past Service First Champion who volunteers both in his community and at the hospital, Casey majored in business administration with a concentration in management and human resources. “We are extremely proud of Casey and his achievements, all of which were accomplished while working full time at Baptist Union County,” said Nancy Kidd, director of marketing for Baptist Union County.
Casey’s colleagues Missy Coltharp, Judy Lansdell and Tina Snyder joined others who helped plan a surprise celebration for him.
