Happy Hospital Week!

Hospital Week is one of the most special times of the year because it gives us an opportunity to celebrate you and all you do to make Baptist great. I hope you can take part in some (or all) of the great things your entity will do for you next week, and I hope you have fun.

The games, meals and other activities can’t even begin to show how much we appreciate what you bring to our organization. Together, we are accomplishing great things. I’m excited for you to learn how we’re doing during our next round of town hall meetings. We are having a great year because you believed we could, and you’re doing what it takes to reach our goals.

In addition to Hospital Week, we have another reason to celebrate. Dr. Frank Groner, Baptist’s second president, will be posthumously inducted into the Tennessee Healthcare Hall of Fame this year. Dr. Groner was one of the most successful health care leaders of the 20th century. Under his leadership, the Baptist Medical Center grew to become the largest privately owned hospital in the world, and he had a tremendous influence on the health care industry.

Tell me what you’re looking forward to next week, or reach out to me if anything else is on your mind. Respond to this email, tweet me @jason_m_little or follow me on LinkedIn. Thanks, and enjoy Hospital Week.
