On March 30, Baptist joined the nation in celebrating Doctor’s Day, a time specifically designated to thank and remember all the doctors who are working hard to save lives and restore health.
At Baptist Union City Dr. John Bates, medical staff president (pictured far right), and Skipper Bondurant, administrator and CEO (pictured in the middle), presented a $500 donation to Lorraine Gossett, chairperson for the Hometown Walk of Hope (pictured far left). The donation was made in honor of the Baptist Union City medical staff.
Over at Baptist Women’s Hospital, the Baptist team created a gourmet spread especially for their doctors. In their words, “We love our doctors. We appreciate you and value your support!”
At Baptist Memphis, Dr. Michael Smith with Baptist Medical Group-Memphis Lung Physicians enjoyed the special physician luncheon.
Across the system, no matter the type of celebration, the message remained the same on March 30: Thanks to all our Baptist doctors!
