With Easter and Mother’s Day around the corner, it’s a good time to think about how best to honor those in your life, while granting a precious last wish to another. As the world reawakens in spring, think about giving a gift to family, friends or coworkers that carries a perennial message.
Spring cards are available now for purchase, and donations will help the Baptist Foundation grant a hospice patient’s last request through the Priceless Wishes program.
With a minimum donation of just $10, you can purchase a card, and the Baptist Foundation will notify the recipient that you made a contribution to Priceless Wishes in his or her honor. If you provide an address, the Foundation will send a card to a single recipient for a minimum donation of $10, or you can purchase blank cards and personalize them yourself.
Priceless Wishes helps many patients with life-limiting illnesses realize a simple wish like attending a family reunion or enjoying a loved one’s birthday party. Our team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, aides, bereavement coordinators, and support personnel work closely with each patient and family member, truly getting to know each of them. We find out what’s special to them and help uncover their priceless wish. Then, we help the patient’s loved ones make arrangements to make that priceless wish come true. At Baptist Hospice, we know sometimes it’s the little things that are often priceless.
