New Service, One-Eighty, Comes to Baptist Collierville

A new service at Baptist Collierville brings new hope for patients facing withdrawal from alcohol, drugs and prescription pain medications.

The hospital has partnered with Impact Healthcare Management to offer One-Eighty, an inpatient medical service that specializes in helping hospitals administer drug and alcohol-related withdrawal services. The hospital-based service is administered in an inpatient setting, and the average length of stay is three days

“Baptist Collierville has been a pillar of the community since 1999,” said Kyle Armstrong, administrator and CEO of Baptist Collierville. “However, to stay on the leading edge of providing care, we must look at offering an array of traditional and non-traditional services, both of which play a vital role in a patient’s health and well-being. We believe this service will allow us to make a profound impact in the lives of patients who want to turn away from substance abuse and need medical help to take that first step.”

The service is voluntary and helps manage those who require medical withdrawal stabilization prior to participating in various other outpatient or long-term inpatient programs related to chemical dependency. Staffed by experienced professionals, the service is a medical model, physician-directed and provides daily medical and nursing monitoring and documentation, follow-up referrals and treatment recommendations.
