Baptist Tipton’s first baby of the year came almost four hours into 2016. Karson Douglas was born to Brittney Douglas at 3:56 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measuring 18 inches long. Mother and baby received a gift basket donated by Baptist Tipton’s volunteers.
