The Beta Theta-at large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, a nursing honor society, recently won the Chapter Key Award. The Beta Theta at large Chapter includes the Baptist Health Sciences University, University of Memphis and University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
The Chapter Key Awards honor chapters that excel in activities such as membership recruitment and retention; publicity and programming; professional and leadership development; and local, national and international collaboration. This is the first time the chapter received this award.
The Chapter also won Showcase of Regional Excellence awards for Servant Leadership and Connectedness. These awards recognize outstanding achievement for the Presidential Call to Action.
