Champion: Juliet Thompson, unit coordinator, Gynecology

According to Juliet’s nominator, Stephanie Yarbro, a nurse in the gynecology unit, she is willing to do just about anything, often before being asked. During a particularly busy time at the hospital, not only did Juliet go to dietary and get breakfast trays for patients, she assisted a NICU mom who couldn’t tell time or read.

“Juliet sat with her, trying to help her learn how to spell the baby’s name that she had picked out. She also reassured this mom that she would watch the clock and get her to the NICU for her baby’s scheduled touch time.”
