Baptist offers new benefit for health plan members

This year during open enrollment, Baptist health plan members will learn about “Care Coordination,” a program, created by Select Health Alliance, to help Baptist Memorial health plan members (Baptist team members, their spouses and their dependent children) receive personal, confidential and timely assistance to navigate their health care needs.

“Our hope is that the program will be viewed as sincere and caring, to help improve personal wellness,” said Dr. Henry Sullivant, chief medical officer of Clinical Integration.

SHA has teamed with local, experienced health care professionals to guide health plan members through the health care process. SHA licensed professionals may contact team members who have a planned inpatient admission and/or need help controlling a chronic health issue. All communication is held in the strictest confidence. Helping health plan members achieve their health goals is the priority.

More information will be distributed during open enrollment meetings, but team members may also email care@selecthealthalliance.com if they have questions.
