First female speaker of Tennessee House meets with Baptist leaders

On Monday Oct. 5, women in leadership at Baptist met with Beth Harwell, the first ever female Speaker of the Tennessee House of Representatives. This marked the first time Speaker Harwell visited Baptist. She heard about the organization’s 103-year history, Baptist OneCare and MyChart, the Universal Parenting Place, the growing number of patients at the Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children’s Hospital and the economic impact the system has on the communities it serves.
