Baptist Women’s physical therapist rewarded for commitment to patients and team members

Cynthia Greener, a physical therapist at Baptist Women’s Hospital, earned the facility’s most recent Service First award. Her nominator, Missy Nelson, an assistant administrator at Baptist Women’s, described Cynthia as “an exemplary employee” who is “conscientious, hardworking and is a perfect example of Service Excellence.”

Not only does Cynthia ensure that neonatal ICU babies receive their physical therapy, she plans in advance to be sure their weekly care plans are met. Missy credits Cynthia’s “excellent PT teaching” with preparing NICU babies and their parents for discharge.

Cynthia is just as dedicated to her co-workers as she is to her patients, staying late when census is high to complete documentation for the rest of the care team to review. She also has taken a lead role in learning about and preparing for new pediatric patients.

“Cynthia has a positive, can-do attitude,” Missy wrote. “Each day, she plans to provide the best care and experience possible to her patients.”
