Larry Ramsey, a pharmacist at Baptist Union County, was named Service First Champion for the quarter for his work as the hospital’s HumanaVitality champion.
Larry’s nominee, Sarah Conlee, RN, praised his diligent work in encouraging team members to participate in the employee wellness program. His efforts have resulted in a 65 percent participation rate among hospital employees, by far the largest in the Baptist system.
“Larry has encouraged so many and has come up with creative ways to help everyone increase their (HumanaVitality) points,” Sarah wrote. “He is very passionate about this program and is spreading his enthusiasm throughout the hospital.”
Also nominated for Service First were Chris Thomas, Pauline Miller and Cheryl Hodges.
